Hello everyone!! Well it has been an easy week so far. Having last week off of
treatment made this week a smoother ride!

My port behaved properly and the nurses were able to access it so that I could get
the medications.  Also, I was able to sleep better than usual and thus don’t feel as
drained from having treatment.

In the works… as you know the spin a thon is fast approaching.  I am looking forward
to the energy and enthusiasm that the day will bring.  As well, the golf tournament will
be at the end of April and will be a ton of fun!!

I am also working on creating a resource group for colon cancer patients. The various
press pieces have allowed me to be in touch with colon cancer patients throughout
Canada. Locally, there is a small number of us who want to get together and share
information, experiences and tricks to navigate the health system.

As well, I will be presenting to an insurance group of agents on the benefits of critical
illness insurance. I hope this will be the first of many presentations.
