Hello everyone!! Well let me tell about a great week so far….
On Monday I received my first Erbitux treatment at Roswell Park. It made for a long
day as I got Avastin in West Seneca in the morning and then stuck around for my
afternoon appointment.
Today I had my first insurance presentation to use my story as one of the reasons for
Critical Illness insurance. It went very well and I have already received a ton of positive
feedback. It feels like the professional speaking tour has begun and I hope I am able to
take this talk on the road!
I am feeling really well. I am still nervous about my CT scan scheduled for April 10th. I
have decided to take a break from treatment next week and have some family time.
Before I get too far ahead of myself…. This Saturday is the spin a thon at Brock. I
understand there are still more spots. Please sign up with Kelly Dickenson if you plan
on attending. The golf tournament on April 29th is filling up quickly so get your
foursome into DM soon!
Let’s hope the sun comes back soon and that things continue to move in the right
direction in my health department!!
