Help Suzanne Aucoin
Update April 18, 2006

Happy belated Easter to everyone!  I had another week off of treatment last week and
was able to spend some time with my brothers and parents.  It was good to take a
break from the hospital routine and appointments.  I was surprised at the amount of
energy I had and lack of appetite. The lack of appetite is a good thing as I constantly
eat when on treatment.

Anyhow, I went to Roswell Park this morning for my second Erbitux treatment there.
It was a long morning but they are kind and efficient once the details are taken care
of.  I also went to see Dr. Major at the Juravinski Cancer Centre.  My CT scan results
showed minimal growth (2-4 mm) in all tumours.  Basically, things are stable but I need
to keep a close eye on the activity.  I will start researching options again so I can be
prepared.

If you receive the St. Catharines Standard or live in the area, there will be another
article by Peter Downs coming out this Thursday or Friday.

I am enjoying the sunshine and good weather. I hope we have a day like today for the
golf tournament on April 29th.

Take care
Suzanne
