Hello!! Well just got home from the Juravinski clinic… a long day but a good one.  I am
feeling well and continue to keep the same regimen for treatment. My next CT scan is
July 31sst and I have funding for Erbitux until the end of September.  

I have started to take goji juice…. It is bought through the internet and is a
concentrated tropical fruit juice filled with antioxidants and vitamins. My energy level
has improved on weeks off of heavy treatment and the digestive system is in check.  

On the advocacy front… Peter Downs from the St. Catharines Standard published
another article last week outlining my challenges with OHIP.  The colon cancer
resource group which meets once a month, is dedicating its next meeting (Aug. 13th)
to coming up with a plan to ensure that government officials know our concern.  

I AM ASKING THAT EACH OF YOU CONTACT YOUR LOCAL MP AND MPP AND USE THE
ATTACHED LETTER TO BE A VOICE FOR CANCER PATIENTS.
Please contact me if you need further direction with this action.

Also, please check out upcoming events on my website…. We have two events in
August and one in September.  Lots of good things on the horizon….
