Hello!! What a rainy day…. Stay warm and dry if you can!! I am still under the
weather…. Fighting the same cold. I am taking it slow today and hope to get this out of
my system soon.
I am taking a break from chemo due to my cold. However, I did see Dr. Major
yesterday. My CT scan shows minimal growth in two lung tumours and one liver
tumour. I need to look at the start of the Erbitux treatment and compare the year of
CT scans to get a true picture. I am scheduled for chemo next week but want to
change the chemo drug back to oxaliplatin. This drug was first used and is shown to
work again after taking a break.
I am still waiting for a referral to see Dr. Gallinger. As well, I am waiting for some
feedback from the people in Pittsburgh… the waiting game!!!
We have our card making fundraiser next week – Oct. 22nd. After that , I think we will
be taking a break until the New Year.
There is no word from OHIP yet….
